5.0/10

The hotel had very good quality rooms but with major issues such as a tiny size, broken plug rendering it unusable, and hideous decorations. The main bedroom was unpleasant with stained and uncomfortable beds. The facilities were a disappointment as the restaurant and bar were unexpectedly closed, although the breakfast was good.

Rooms
5.0
The room was extremely small and uncomfortable with various maintenance and cleanliness issues.

The staff were friendly and helpful, except for an overcharging incident.
Location

The location was convenient, close to shops and restaurants, but the hotel itself seemed worn down when moving away from the main hallway.

The dining experience was disappointing, with overpriced and subpar food.
Facilities

The overall hotel facilities were below expectations and the closed restaurant and bar were a major letdown.

6.8/10

The hotel is located in an excellent spot with easy access to the shopping center. The rooms are small and would benefit from repairs, but it's very quiet being on the 1st floor at the rear of the hotel. The service was great, with an amazing building and location. The dining experience was okay but could improve in terms of variety. The location is superb for exploring Derby on foot, although the hotel shows signs of wear when moving away from the grand hallway.

Rooms

The room I stayed in was very, very small with no radiator. When closing the bathroom door, my knees would touch it while sitting.

5.0/10

The hotel has a lovely inner courtyard but was marred by pigeons and scuff marks in the room, making it feel more dark than airy. The service lacked communication and readiness for morning offerings but parking was convenient for large vehicles. The location is peaceful but lacks certain attractions. The dining experience left much to be desired compared to other establishments in the area.

Rooms
5.0
The room faced the inner courtyard, which, despite being covered in pigeons and pigeon poo, had a wonderful appearance. However, the room itself was marked with scuffs and could benefit from a fresh coat of paint, giving a more dingy feel than the promised light and airy atmosphere.
Service
5.0
I had to go downstairs to ask for permission, and the staff member muttered that it was not her job, a response I encountered repeatedly. However, I appreciated the ease of parking right in front of the hotel, especially since we were in a big campervan.
Location
6.0
The location is in a quiet area of town which may attract some visitors, but personally, I would have preferred paying more for a better experience. The small provincial outback town had its charm but lacked certain amenities and attractions.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience left me vaguely unhappy, deterring me from further meals at the hotel. The food was below par compared to other nearby hotels, falling short of the standard I expected. However, the breakfast service was top-notch, rated as a 10/10.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel's facilities were subpar compared to similar establishments, lacking some desirable features and amenities.
